There are several ongoing programs at AMRoC Fab Lab underway throughout the year, serving people of all ages with science and tech learning opportunities, workforce skills education and entrepreneurship support.
All the Colors Career Diversity Series
All the Colors is a career diversity video series for youth by youth, collaboratively produced by Pasco County Agents for Change, the Foundation for Community Driven Innovation (FCDI), and AMRoC Fab Lab. The goal of All the Colors is to help bridge the race and gender gap in science, technology, manufacturing and other high end careers and workforce opportunities by introducing children and young adults to people of diverse backgrounds who work in a variety of fields. Automotive Tech Certification Programs
Our certified technician courses are taught by Pam Oakes of US Auto Training, and prepare students ages 16 and up to earn their ASE G1 certification and other certifications for well paying jobs ($15/hr +) in the automotive industry. Class fees vary but may be refundable for certification test prep courses upon completion of coursework for those in the University area. Learn more and register at the link below.
Equity in Entrepreneurship
The goal our Equity in Entrepreneurship program is to help bridge the race and gender equity gap in early-stage entrepreneurship access in the Tampa Bay startup ecosystem. You can learn more and register for the next available session at Equinent.org.
