Advanced Manufacturing & Workforce Skills Training

AMRoC Fab Lab works to provide the  local business community with the “best-of-the-best” talent,  skilled in today’s advanced manufacturing and design processes. Working with a variety of local government, community agencies and corporate partners, AMRoC Fab Lab programming includes a variety of educational, and workforce training and certification opportunities across technical, industrial and manufacturing fields utilizing hands on, project based and competency focused teaching and learning programs. 

Interested in starting a well paying career in Automotive Repair? Classes are Free to University Community area residents, ages 16+. 

180 Skills is a customizable online educational platform offered by AMROC Fab Lab that provides a vast array of courses and career tracks that participants can complete on-line at their own pace with onsite tutoring support at AMRoC.  Courses range from employability skills development in resume building, interviewing, communication skills, Microsoft Office,  and time management, to name a few, to technical skills including aerospace manufacturing, automation, CNC machining skills, composites, electrical, engineering drawing, tool use and more. 

Classes begin in February, and are  free to residents of the University Area community .

For those outside the area, the cost is $120/yr . The program offers 24/7 access to customizable career and training tracks , with onsite mentoring support at AMRoC Fab Lab.  Learn more about 180 Skills here.
