eSmart Recycling and the Foundation for Community Driven Innovation are joining forces at AMRoC Fab Lab this coming Saturday to help local kids and families gain access to computers to support their virtual learning needs. Together, we’re hosting a recycling drive on September 26th between 10am and 1 PM at AMRoC Fab Lab . Click the image at left to download, and read on for more details. See the full list of acceptable items HERE.

Here’s how it works:

  • Donated equipment can be new or used, working or not.
  • Individuals and companies are encouraged to participate
  • Drop off time will be on Sept. 26th, from 10am -1 p.m – in front of AMRoC and in the west parking lot of University Mall, behind AMRoC.
  • eSmart Recycling will destroy hard drives, scrub personal information, refurbish and reload computers with original Microsoft licenses.

To sweeten the deal, we’ll be giving out prizes like 3D printing vouchers to those who bring in the most number of acceptable electronics, the heaviest collection, and the most unusual. We’ll have tours of AMRoC Fab Lab, robotics displays, upcycled art and more.
