Foundation for Community Driven Innovation
AMRoC is a project of the Foundation for Community Driven Innovation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting academic achievement, economic development and the spirit of innovation through inspiring programs and active learning projects.
SOFWERX was created under a Partnership Intermediary Agreement between Doolittle Institute and the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). Located in Tampa, FL, SOFWERX has a very dynamic environment designed to create a high rate of return on collision for all participants. Through the use of our growing ecosystem, promotion of divergent thought, and neutral facilitation, our goal is to bring the right minds together to solve challenging problems.
An Arogsy Foundation seed grant helped launch AMRoC. The mission of the Argosy Foundation is to support people and programs that make our society a better place to live. We seek to employ creative and entrepreneurial approaches that help people to help themselves, and become self-sustaining whenever possible.
Lightning Foundation Community Hero Award
The Lightning Foundation aims to lead by example and inspire others to give back to our wonderful community. The Lightning Foundation is dedicated to investing its resources and leadership for the enrichment of the people of Tampa Bay, focusing on meeting basic human needs and enhancing lives. A portion of AMRoC funding is the result of a Lightning Community Hero Award given to FCDI Executive Director Terri Willingham in 2017.
