Amplifying Youth Voice & Vision

Powered by the Foundation for Community Driven Innovation, the nonprofit founder of AMROC Fab Lab, Gulf Coast MakerCon and ROBOTICON, the inaugural Future Makers Summit will be held in August 2027 in celebration of International Youth Day.  Organized by youth, for youth, the Future Makers Summit seeks to amplify the voices of those ages 16-30, inviting them to join together to share their thoughts and ideas, insights and innovations, and their stories about the things that matter to them, and should matter to everyone interested in a strong healthy future for them and for all of us.

If you’re 30 or under and believe, as FCDI does, that youth are often left out of conversations about youth, that discussions about your perceived or actual academic, workforce or skills gaps never actually include you, that the things you feel are vital to a brighter more promising future are rarely mentioned, that other people are deciding your future, that you’ve been reduced to a statistic instead of the living breathing hopeful person you are, the Future Makers Summit is made for YOU.

If you’re an adult who believes in the importance of youth voice,  or an organization or company who recognizes that the best way to good future is to empower and support youth, then the Future Makers Summit is for you, too.

If you’d like to stay looped in as event planning procedes, and if you’re interested in speaking (youth only please), sponsoring, or volunteering at the event, please complete our early interest form, linked at left.
