Join us on Thursday, August 13, for our annual 813 Day Open House, from 4 pm to 8 pm to explore Hillsborough County’s (and Tampa Bay’s) only public fabrication lab where entrepreneurs, innovators and inventors, and small business owners can get design, and prototyping support, access 3D printing and laser cutting resources, find meeting and networking space and more.
Throughout the afternoon you’ll be able to:
- Tour AMRoC Fab Lab to see some of the newest additions to our space, programming and business services.
- Learn Prototyping Best Practices.
- Connect with local innovators and inventors.
- Check out the inner workings of familiar tech at the Esmart Recycling Deconstruction Zone.
- Try your hand at Studio design with MOCBoxing to learn how to make your own LEGO MOCs for fun and business.
- Check out our Equity in Entrepreneurship Showcase to meet current cohort members and alumni and learn how you can turn your side hustle into a sustainable small business.
- Meet InventHERS founder Madeline Stoddard, and get inspired!
You’ll also meet some of our youth and adult engineers, artists and creators, along with some of our many community partners, learn how how you can access the many small business and entrepreneurial support resources at AMRoC Fab Lab.
