Kudos and Shout Outs!

August was a full and exciting month at AMRoC and we want to share our appreciation for all the wonderful people who visited and shared their time and expertise with guests and students!

We truly enjoyed Representative Fentrice Driskell’s visit to AMRoC, and the time to she took to learn about our different programs – at left learning about the Aquaponics Wall Garden project, with Dhalia Bumbaca and Jon Dengler of the Well.

Many thanks to the Infinity Aeroclub of Tampa for hosting a wonderful Aviation Day event at AMRoC (at right). The well attended event was fun and informative and we look forward to having the Aeroclub back for more programs.

And as ever, we’re immensely grateful to the amazing volunteers who keep AMRoC humming, from working on projects like repairing the laser cutter, to running HADO games and mentoring our youth robotics programs.

We can’t do it without you – and we wouldn’t want to!  Visit our Volunteer page to see how you can get involved.
