813 Hood Garden Food Ambassador Program at AMRoC

In Partnership with WellFed Community & 813 Hood Garden
The 2nd Cohort of the 813 Hood Garden Community Food Ambassador (CFA) program kicks off November 15, 2025 at AMRoC Fab Lab, and meets every 3rd Saturday at the Fab Lab, through July 2026
CFA is a hands-on, monthly workshop series that helps families:
- Learn gardening basics for small spaces (beds, containers, low-cost methods).
- Cook healthy, affordable recipes using what we grow.
- Build community and support one another’s wellness.
- Earn a completion certificate endorsed by the USF Food Sovereignty Initiative.
- Receive garden upgrades/supplies to keep growing at home

If you want to share skills in programming, design, machining, prototyping and fabrication, textiles, handcrafts of all kinds from woodworking to metalsmithing , robotics, or mentoring, training or teaching experience, or providing facilities and equipment support and maintenance, please register via the button at left.
Volunteers contributing at least 20 hours a month receive free access to AMRoC Fab Lab workshop and resources.
All Volunteers agree to FCDI Volunteer Agreement & Waiver.
