AMRoC Fab Lab Machine Shop use is available to credentialed individuals ages 18+ .   Credentials are earned through FCDI’s Credly Machine Shop Essentials program and range from basic Workbench Fundamentals, allowing use of basic workbench tools like the bandsaw, drill press, belt sander and related small power tools to Laser Cutting and CNC milling machines use.

Full AMRoC Machine Shop Essentials Certification includes the following individual badges:

• Workbench Fundamentals
• Laser Cutter Essentials
• CNC Fundamentals
• Machine Shop Essentials – earning full access to the Fab Lab shop

Certification training starts at $75 for basic Workbench Fundamentals training, which includes 10 hours of shop access and can proceed to full Machine Shop Essentials certification training that includes Laser Cutter and CNC, at additional cost.  Additional shop access can be reserved separately.  

Certification training sessions are offered the 3rd Wednesday of each month in the AMRoC Fab Lab machine shop.
